This festival brings together 30+ pop-up New England fiber farmers, producers, and crafters for the ultimate weekend of browsing fiber art and goods, enjoying activities and workshops, and of course, eating fresh local food and drinking craft beverages from our year-round vendors, while connecting with the amazing fiber community of our region.

Fiber Witch Festival 2026: Song of the Sea
Come to the Salem Fiber Witch Festival hosted by practicing witches in historic downtown Salem, Massachusetts, aka the Witch City!
The main event is the Fiber Witch Market. Our Fiber Witch Market is hosted at Old Town Hall, which you may recognize from the beloved 90s movie, Hocus Pocus, and features indie yarn, farm yarn, arts, and handmade goods with a witchy vibe.
The festival also includes exclusive tours around Salem, an exclusive party at the Hotel Salem, workshops, and more!

Admission is $10/per person | Children under 12 are free

Massachusetts Sheep & Wool Craft Fair 50th Anniversary!!
The Massachusetts Sheep & Woolcraft Fair is a volunteer-run event that brings together a vibrant community of farmers, fiber artists, and enthusiasts to celebrate and preserve the region’s sheep and wool heritage. Through educational programs, competitions, and hands-on experiences, the fair supports small-scale shepherds, artisans, and youth interested in fiber arts and agriculture. Your donation helps sustain this cherished tradition, ensuring continued opportunities for learning, community engagement, and the promotion of sustainable, locally produced wool.

Knit In Public Day!
Show the world you’re proud of your hard-earned knitting skills by taking your needles and yarn out into public and crafting something lovely in front of everyone!
The world has knitter Danielle Landes to thank for World Wide Knit in Public Day (W.W.K.I.P.D) – and to say that the world’s knitters have turned out in their droves to support her quest to show that knitting is not just for grannies is something of an understatement. The Event – known as a KIP and brandishing the slogan ‘Better Living Through Stitching Together’ – is run by local groups and despite its reputation as a single day often takes the form of a week-long celebration of both knitting and alternative fiber art forms.
The popularity of these KIPs continues to grow, with groups often choosing a theme for their particular event. Popular themes include knitting for hospitals, community art projects, environmental concerns, and premature babies – all of which are worthy causes to benefit from those with a love of yarn.
To give you an understanding of just how popular Worldwide Knit in Public Day is, it is actually the biggest knitter-run event across the globe. Over the years, there have been local events across the globe. This includes in locations such as Germany, the United States, Sweden, South Africa, Poland, Norway, Ireland, France, Finland, England, China, and Australia.

On Friday the swap (and the library!) will be open 1-2 for the early bird ticket only. Then the swap will be open from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, whether you donated or not.
